The "Pray for the Men" global movement is a call to unite in prayer for the men in our communities, focusing on their spiritual, emotional, and social well-being. Within Solid Rock Family Services, we are dedicated to uplifting and supporting the men in our local communities in Canada, recognizing their vital role in the strength and health of families and society.

Life often brings seasons of great challenges and hardships. The truth is, we all need people to lift us up. As Scripture reminds us, “Two are better than one... if either of them falls, one can help the other up” (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).



We all need support from time to time—whether through prayer or a helping hand. Pray for the Men is dedicated to uplifting men in need of community support, offering prayer and guidance to help them navigate life’s difficult moments. We begin with prayer because we believe that God answers prayers. However, our faith doesn’t stop there.

Our mission is to be an answer for someone else by providing fundamental support and essential resources. Prayer is a powerful starting point for seeking guidance, wisdom, and strength in times of challenge—but faith calls us to take action beyond prayer, ensuring that no man walks alone.

Mental health concerns among men have risen over the years, yet longstanding stigmas continue to make it difficult for them to seek the support they need. Societal pressures, especially for racialized and marginalized men, have only deepened the crisis—impacting not just individuals but also their families.

At Solid Rock, we recognize the critical role that mentally and emotionally healthy men play in leading their families. We are committed to advocating for and supporting men as they nurture and care for their mental well-being.

Our support services include coaching, counseling, and meaningful discussions through the Mind, Your Business Brother Podcast—a safe space where men openly share their mental health challenges, offer insights, and encourage one another through authentic conversations.

Many of the challenges men face are rooted in financial struggles. Unemployment and the inability to provide for one’s family can create immense pressure. Financial instability is often at the heart of marital conflict, food and housing insecurity, and a cycle of debt and damaged credit. When bills continue to pile up and income isn’t coming in fast enough, the impact on families and their quality of life can be devastating.
